The volunteer group has been going since 1997 as an unincorporated group; however in November 2005 we became incorporated in the State of Queensland for economic reasons only. We are primarily a group of volunteer sappers who stage behind the scenes and prepare for ‘Squadron Reunion’s every two years, the last being at Club Banora, N.S.W in August of 2005 and will again by the ‘overwhelming response’, have our next 1 Field Squadron Group Reunion at Club Banora, bordering New South Wales and Queensland. (Gold Coast Area) in August 2007.

Any person who was a member of 1 Field Squadron Group RAE can host a reunion in any State or Territory in Australia and you have the expertise of the Executive Committee, to help you all the way. Member also means all dependants and descendants of the member. Correspondence to the executive for such is all it takes.
